DISTRIBUTION OF READY-MADE CLOTHES TO FAMILIES AFFECTED BY CYCLONE DITVA

Under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division, Major General H.D.L.S. Perera, RWP, RSP, and under the full supervision of the Brigade Commander, 222 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier D.M.G.K.H. De Silva, a programme to distribute ready-made clothes among 175 flood-affected families in the Neelapola area was conducted on 18 December 2025 at the Neelapola Rajamaha Viharaya. The programme was organized by the 9th Battalion, Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, in response to the adverse impact caused by Cyclone Ditva.
