DISTRIBUTION OF DRINKING WATER BOTTLES TO KURUTHAIYADI HOUSING SCHEME – KALMUNAI

Due to the widespread power outage caused by adverse weather, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board in Kalmunai was unable to maintain its regular water distribution. Consequently, under the direction of Major General K W Jayaweera USP psc, the General Officer Commanding, 24 Infantry Division, a 01x04 troops from the 18th Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, which operates under the 241 Infantry Brigade distributed 274 bottles of drinking water (216 of 1.5L and 58 of 1L) to the Kuruthaiyadi Housing Scheme in Kalmunai on 03 December 2025.
