As per the directions given by the General Officer Commanding 23 Infantry Division Major General Nalin Koswatte, a donation of baby care equipment for pregnant mothers was conducted by the troops of 11 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment on 02 February 2022 at Dharmaraja Temple in Mangalagama in Eraurpaththu DS Division.
Commander Security Force - East Major General Lal Chandrasiri graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and distributed the baby care equipment among the pregnant mothers of low income families who are suffering hardships due to current pandemic situation in the area.
Generous donor Miss Dulanji Chamalka (Psychological Instructor), daughter of late Veteran Psychologist and Personality Development Consultant, Positive Thinking Lecturer and Writer Mr Chandana Gunawardena has provided the sponsorship for this worthy cause.
General Officer Commanding 23 Infantry Division, Commanding Officer of 11 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, beneficiaries along with the civilians in the village present at the occasion.
