The troops of 11th Battalion Sri Lanka National Guard distributed school bags among 45 school students at Niwguna Saddhathissa Junior College in Eragama, Ampara on 25th March 2022 with the sponsorship of Mr A L Tawfiq, District Cultural Officer Akkaraipattu.
Commander 241 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Chndra Abeykoon graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and distributed the school bags among students.
Commanding Officer of 11 SLNG, Lieutenant Colonel Dhammika Weerasinghe, Principal of Akkaraipattu Hijra College, Mr M H Thasim and the troops of 11 SLNG were also attended the programme.
