DISTRIBUTE 3000 COCONUT SAPLINGS AMONG 300 FAMILIES IN 221 INFANTRY BRIGADE AREA

With the concept of the Commander, Security Forces - East, Major General Prasanna Gunaratne RSP ndu psc IG, and under guidance of the Commander, 22 Infantry Division, Major General GMN Perera RWP RSP USP ndc and the Commander, 221 Infantry Brigade, Colonel AK Peiris RSP Organized and distributed 3000 coconut saplings as stage one, coordinated with Chilaw Plantations Pvt (Ltd), among 300 selected low-income families in 2(V) Gajaba Regiment sector on 13 November 2023 at 2(V) Gajaba Regiment Gymnasium premises. The Commander, 22 Infantry Division, Commanders of 221, 222 and 223 Infantry Brigades, Civil Affairs Officer of 221 Infantry Brigade and Commanding officers of 20 Gajaba Regiment and 2(V) Gajaba Regiment participated for the occasion.
