A Dansela programme was organized by the 242 Infantry Brigade and 23 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment for the devotees of "Paada Yathra" at the evening of 25 July 2022 at Okanda Dewalaya premises under the patronage of Mr. Kamal Harischandra an entrepreneur in Piliyandala. A total of 1500 devotees were offered dinner and Ice Cream and the event was organized with the direction of General Officer Commanding, 24 Infantry Division Major General SB Amunugama RWP RSP ndu. The Commander 242 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier BGS Fernando USP psc Hdmc, Commanding Officer of 23 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, Lieutenant Colonel MAW Munasinghe SLSR along with the troops of 242 Infantry Brigade, 23 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment also attended to the event.
