As the initial step of implementing Green Agriculture concept, with the directionof General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry Division Major General SanathAluvihare, a coordinating conference was held at the 22 Infantry Division conference hall on 13 December 2021 to discuss about the Green Agriculture Project.
During the conference,a lengthy discussion was conducted to share the knowledge with government officials regarding the difficulties, requirements and promoting Green Agriculture concept. GOC 22 Infantry Division Major General WWBMRSP Aluvihare RWP RSP, Brigade Commanders of 221 and 223 Infantry Brigades, Col GS - 22 Infantry Division, Col AQ - 22 Infantry Division,CAO – 22 Infantry Division, Commanding Officers of 6 SLAC, 15 SLLI, 24 VIR, 5(V) SLA, 2(V) GR and 17 SLNG and Director of Agriculture - Trincomalee, Deputy Director of Agriculture –Trincomalee, Commissioner Agriculture –Trincomalee, Provincial Manager LakPohora participated in the event.
