COMMUNITY WELFARE PROGRAM CONDUCTED BY THE 221 INFANTRY BRIGADE

Under the guidance of the Commander Security Forces (East), Major General P. R. Pathiravithana, USAWC psc, and the close supervision of the General Officer Commanding of the 22 Infantry Division, the troops of the 221 Infantry Brigade successfully organized a community welfare program on 21 April 2025 at Trincomalee Siddhartha Primary School.

The program included the distribution of school items to the children. Following this, lunch was provided to the children and staff of the school, which is located within the area of responsibility of the brigade.

To ensure the success of this welfare initiative, the Brigade Commander of the 221 Infantry Brigade, along with senior officers, officers, and other ranks, actively participated in the event.
