COMMENCEMENT OF BUILDING A HOME FOR MUCH NEEDED FAMILY BY 12 SLNG TROOPS

With a novel idea of the Commander of the Army, aimed at providing support to families in need and under the guidance of Comd SF(E), the laying of the foundation stone for a house at Iralakkulam, Siththandi transpired in a small ceremony on 26 January 2024 at 0910 hours with the gracious participation of Commanding Officer of 12 Sri Lanka National Guard, Major BMC Wanninayake SLNG. The initiative was carried out under the guidance of the Commander 232 Infantry Brigade. Troops of 12 Sri Lanka Guard is rendering their fullest support to this assignment along with local resources. This estimated cost for this single-storied house consisting of two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom is Rs. 3052155.00 and anticipated completion within the commendable period of 3 months.
