Simultaneous to the 74th Army Day festivities, the 7th Light Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery, under the supervision of SFHQ (E), 23 Infantry Division, and 231 Infantry Brigade, initiated a community-oriented endeavor. The event was orchestrated by the 7th Light Regiment, with the presence of Civil Affairs Officer of 231 Inf Bde, Second in Command - 7th Light Regiment and a team of 16 troops.The principal objective was to commemorate this significant milestone of the Sri Lanka Army while strengthening the bond between the military and the community. This encompassed providing breakfast and lunch for assistance needy women at Minihiri women’s rescue center Higurakgoda, alongside musical entertainment and the essential items were distributed
