Major General ChannaWeerasuriya visited the Quarantine Center Norochcholai, Ampara on Wednesday 16 and inspected the availability of facilities at the centre while giving necessary instructions to the authorities.
Quarantine Centre Norochcholai, Ampara functioned under the coordination of 24 Infantry Division is known to be the largest quarantine centre of Sri Lanka which consists of 1800 beds. The Brigadier Coord SFHQ (E), Brigadier Kapila Chakrawarthi and senior officers accompanied the Commander SF (E) during the visit.
