COMMANDER SF-EAST UNDERTAKES FORMAL VISITS TO 12 GW

The Commander, Security Forces - East, Major General Sujeewa Hetiarachchi paid his maiden formal field visits to the 12 Gemunu Watch on 22 November 2022.

The visiting Commander was warmly welcomed by the General Officer Commanding, 23 Infantry Division, Major General Shewanth Kulatunge and the Commanding Officer of 12 GW, Major Lalantha Ranasinghe on arrival at the Headquarters of 12 Gemunu Watch at Damminna.

The drive pass was offered at the main entrance to the Security Forces Commander in conformity with military traditions saluted him. After introducing officers of the battalion, the Commanding Officer conducted a comprehensive briefing on Security and Administration matters of the battalion area of responsible. After that, the Commander, Security Forces – East visited the camp and followed up by a tea with all ranks and speaks to them.
