COMMANDER SECURITY FORCES (EAST) VISITS FORWARD MAINTENANCE AREA (EAST)

The Commander Security Forces (East), Major General G R R P Jayawardena RWP RSP ndu visited Forward Maintenance Area (East) and Army Base Hospital at Minneriya on 19 July 2022.

The Commander FMA (East),Major General KAWS Ratnayakendu welcomed the visiting Commander at the arrival to the Headquarters. A Guard Turnout was offered toCommander, SF (East) in the accordance with the Military traditions soon after his arrival.

During the SF Commander’s visit, the briefing of the Commanding officers under command to the FMA (East) was conducted at the FMA (East) Headquarter’s conference hall. After the briefing, the Commander SF (East) planted a sapling to mark his visit to the FMA (East) Headquarters.

After that, the Comd SF (East) visited to the 3 Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, 3 Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps, Army Base Hospital at Minneriya and 3 Engineer Service Regiment. At the 3 ESR, the Commander, SF (East) addressed the troops and exchanged some valuable ideas and educated them.
