1. The Commander Security Forces (East), Major General Darshana Hettiarrachchi RSP USP ndu psc, visited 2 (V) Sri Lanka Signal Corps, on 13 January 2017. \r\n2. On arrival at the HQ 2 (V) SLSC, the Commander Security Forces (East) was welcomed by Lt Col GLSW Liyanage USP psc, CO - 2 (V) SLSC and he was accorded with a formal Guard Turnout in accordance with military formalities. Later Comd SF (E) planted a Mango sapling to mark of his official visit to 2 (V) SLSC followed by the tps address. \r\n\r\n3. Thereafter all the officers of the Bn were introduced to the Comd SF (E) by CO and conducted a comprehensive briefing on role and tasks and the nature of duties carried out by the Bn. Concluding the day’s program, Comd SF (E) participated for all ranks lunch at the ORs Mess.
