COMMANDER SECURITY FORCES (EAST) PAID HOMAGE AND CALL ON TO GOVERNOR/ HIGHEST MILITARY RANKS OF OTHER TWO SERVICES IN EASTERN PROVINCE
Commander Security Forces (East) Maj Gen Nandana Senadeera WWV RWP RSP USP ndu paid a homage to Ven Ahungalle Sri Seelavisuddi Thero , the Chief Incumbent of Rangiri Ulpatha Rajamaha Viharaya, followed by a courtesy call on Governor Eastern Province Mr. Austin Fernando at his office on 17 and 18 Apr 2017, after assuming duties as the Comd SF (E).Consequent with the courtesy call with the Governor, Comd SF (E) had an audience with the Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Travis Sinnaiah, WWV RWP RSP ndu psc Msc and the Commandant, Sri Lanka Air Force Academy – China bay, Air Vice Marshal PDKT Jayasinghe RWP RSP USP ndc in a nature of call - on followed by taking over the Eastern Command.During the call on, Comd SF (E) and two senior Officers exchanged their views on matters related to security, on land, maritime and aerial of the eastern region as well as existing relationship between tri services.The cordial official call-on culminated with exchange of mementoes as symbols of goodwill and comradeship.GOC 22 Div Maj Gen Aruna Jayasekara WWV RWP RSP Usp ndu psc too accompanied the Comd SF (E) during the meetings.
