Commander Security Forces (East), Major General P. R. Pathiravithana, USAWC, psc, attended the Annual Khwajaajee Grand Feast held at the Khwajaajee Majlis Hall of the Badhriyyah Jummah Mosque in Kattankudy.
The event, a significant occasion for the local Muslim community, was marked by religious observances, community unity, and traditional hospitality. Major General Pathiravithana’s presence highlighted the importance of interfaith harmony and the Sri Lanka Army's continued engagement in fostering communal relationships across the region.
During the event, the Commander engaged with local leaders and attendees, expressing appreciation for the warm welcome and emphasizing the Army’s support for peaceful coexistence and cultural respect.
The General Officer Commanding of the 24 Infantry Division and other senior officers were also present at the event.
