COMMANDER SECURITY FORCES (EAST) ADDRESS 232 INFANTRY BRIGADE TROOPS AT THOPPIGALA

Major General S A Kulatunge RWP RSP VSP USP psc, newly appointed Commander Security Forces (East), conducted an official field visit to 232 Infantry Brigade Headquarters on 29 April 2024. The present Commander Security Forces (East) was one of the former commanders of the 232 Infantry Brigade.

The Security Forces Commander (East), was warmly welcomed by Brigadier R P S Prasad RWP RSP USP, Commander 232 Infantry Brigade. A Guard turnout was accorded honoring the Security Forces Commander at the entrance in keeping with military traditions. Thereafter, the Commander planted a sapling as a remembrance of the occasion

During the troop address, Major General S A Kulatunge RWP RSP VSV USP psc emphasized the importance of maintaining the highest standards of discipline during this challenging time period, as proud members of this victorious Army. Further, he highlighted the significance of maintaining high standards of professionalism at all times.

A comprehensive briefing conducted by the Brigade Commander and his staff on the role, tasks and operational readiness of 232 Infantry Brigade was followed by a discussion on security and administrative issues related to the Brigade.

The General Officer Commanding 23 Infantry Division, Commander 232 Infantry Brigade, Senior Staff Officers of the Security Forces Headquarters (East), commanding officers, officers & other ranks were present at the occasion.
