The Commander, Security Forces - East, Major General Channa Weerasuriya made an observation visit to 22 Division area on 06 July 2021.
The Commander SF(E) initially visited the Recruit Training School Thawulwewa where he had a word with the staff of the Training School regarding the facilities and accessories available at the premises. He also planted a mango sapling to mark his visit.
Later on, the Commander visited the proposed Headquarters premises of 221 Brigade, Kumburupiddi and observed the ongoing constructions.
Meanwhile, Major General Channa Weerasuriya paying his obeisance to the religious sentiments, called on the Chief Incumbent of Rangiri Ulpatha Raja Maha Viharaya, Gomarankadawala Ven. Ahungalle Siri Seelawisuddhi Thero and received blessings.
