Colonel General Staff of Security Force Headquarters (East) Colonel PPC Perera psc, Master Graded (Arjaran) title holder under Kru (Master) Muaythai Association and Thai culture commission, during his forging leave attended " Muay Prajow Seua & Krabee Krabong Prajow Seua (Tiger King) Wai Kru " ceremony held in Bangkok and Wat tug, Thailand. It is noted that Colonel Priyanka Perera is the first National Coach under sport ministry and founder of Army Muaythai Committee.
Further, Tiger King crowned as the 29th King of Ayutthaya. He is also known as the father of Muay Boarn, the devastating unarmed fighting Art of Ancient Thailand which was developed as the ultimate form of military self-defence during countless wars in the unforgiving crucible of Southeast Asia's battlefield. 6th February has organized as Muaythai day to his respect. In the country Muay Boran teaching existed only in Sri Lanka Army Muaythai Combat Self Defence Course (MCSD) and Muaythai Combat Fighting System (CFS) are approved courses.
This is to ascertain that on special day, the game was open to a very few foreigners and Colonol Priyanka Perera reassured his position among them. Thailand Cultural Minister hoisted a ceremony together with UNESCO official amidst the presence of all well-known teachers around Thailand. During the ceremony, over 1000 school students displayed Muaythai skills and Wai Kru (Teacher respect) dance and high skill of military techniques were declared as a UNESCO heritage.
