CLEARING THE ROAD FROM PERIYAWADDUWAN TO PANKUNAVELI, WHICH HAD BECOME IMPASSABLE DUE TO ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS

Due to the adverse weather conditions experienced across the country in recent days, the road from PERIYAWADDUWAN to PANKUNAVELI had become impassable as a result of flooding. Under the guidance of the Commander of the 232 Inf Brigade and the Commanding Officer of the 12th Battalion Sri Lanka National Guard, and under the full supervision of the Second in Command of the 12th Battalion Sri Lanka National Guard, 1 × 10tpseach was deployed to 4 Dec 2025 to clear and restore the road.
