The Urani Medical Clinic Center which was located in the 242 INF BDE AOR, the facility has been neglected and requires urgent attention.
According to the kind request from the M.O.H POTTUVIL, that the support of the Army forces in partnering with the civilians to clean and restore the Clinic center.
The aim of this cleaning programme is to enhance the medical facilities in the URANI Medical Clinic Centre and develop a healthy environment in between the general area of URANI.
For that 14 SLSR organized a cleaning programme on 21 Dec 2023 from 0800 hrs to 1130 hrs. For this cleaning programme 00 x 15 soldiers and 14 civilians were participated to enhance and reopen the Urani Medical Center.
