CLEANING AND PURIFICATION OF WELLS

11 Sri Lanka National Guard conducted well cleaning programme on 06 December 2025 at 0800 hrswith the participation of 01 x 10 troops. During the programmetroops cleaned public wells located at the Alayaadiwembu – Wachikuda area had been extensively used by the local community during the recent adverse weather conditions and the cleaning effort was carried out to ensure the continued availability of safe drinking water for affected residents.
