A CHILD OF LOW-INCOME FAMILY RECEIVES SCHOLARSHIP

7 Light Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery selected one child from underprivileged family in Polonnaruwa district, clever at learning and offered a scholarship for advanced studies.

Generous donor Mr. ATA Jayasooriya volunteered to allocate Rs. 2500/- every month for his studies in response to a request made by the Commanding Officer of 7 Light Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery, Lieutenant Colonel Priyantha Karawita.
