As per a concept and guidance of General Officer Commanding of 22 Infantry Division Major General Saliya Amunugama, a Career Guidance Seminar was organized by Headquarters 22 Infantry Division with the shared support of Rotaract Club Trincomalee on 11 March 2023. The intention of this seminar was to guide the youth of the area, especially the school leavers towards well planned career destination avoiding mislead in future. The seminar was conducted by well - known professional career counselor Mrs.Chandima Rodrigo. She is a well - qualified career guidance counselor from National Career Guidance and Counseling Centre in State Ministry of Skill Development, Vocational Education, Research and innovations.
There were over 150 school leavers and prospected job seekersparticipated for the seminar which was lasted for four hours. All of them were enthusiastically participated for the event from the beginning. They were enlightened with the future career goals and the career paths which they can choose to achieve success in future. Seminar was terminated around 1300 hrs and all participants were treated with refreshments and lunch arranged by headquarters 22 Infantry Division with the support of under command Bdes and Battalions. Dedication and commitment of all ranks of the 22 Infantry Division and the support with good will extended by under command Bdes and Bns made this effort a great success. Rotaract Club Trincomalee supported immensely by coordinating the youth participated for this seminar.
