CAPTURED A ILLEGAL FERTILIZER BY MIXING WITH ARTIFICIAL INGREDIENTS AND SALT

On intelligence received, troops of the 3 (Volunteer) Military Intelligence Corps(attach to 241 Infantry Brigade) and 18th Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment of the 241 Infantry Brigade of the 24 Division under the Security Force Headquarters -East, together with STF officials at “Thirukkovil” have Captured a Fertilizer manufacturing store with around “40 tons” of Fertilizer and “six suspects” who were involved of making illegal Fertilizer by mixing with artificial ingredients and salt at “Ninthavur” area on Thursday (24).

In addition, the suspects’ persons with illegal Fertilizer and accessories were handed over to the “Ninthavur” Police station for further investigations.

The Commander, Security Forces - East, together with the General Officer Commanding, 24 Infantry Division and the Brigade Commander, 241 Infantry Brigade closely monitored the raid and instructed accordingly.With the arrests of these illegal activities, which illegal activities have will stopped in the area and the general public’s confidence about the security forces has will increased.
