According to an information received by 7 Military Intelligent troops attached to 223 Infantry Brigade, Inteligent troops together with Echchalampaththu police officials, 04 persons was apprehended with 50g 220mg of X Methamphetamine (ICE) at Settipalam, Kalawanchikud on 13 june 2023. Thereafter suspected 04 person with illegal drugs were handed over to the Echchalampaththu police station for further investigations.
The Commander, Security Forces (East) together with the General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division, and the Brigade Commander, 223 Infantry Brigade with the Commanding Officer, 7 Military Intelligence Corps closely monitored the raid and instructed accordingly. With the apprehended of these illegal activities in respective areas, illegal activities will be curtailed in the area and the general public’s confidence in the Military forces will be increased.
