According to the information received by 7 Military Intelligent Corps troops attach to 222 Infantry Brigade, Intelligent troops together with Sooriyapura police officials; person was apprehended with 3.7 g of Kerala Cannabis at Samagipura on 05 April 2023. Thereafter suspected persons with illegal drugs were handed over to the Sooriyapura police station for further investigations.
The Commander, Security Forces (East) together with the General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division, and the Brigade Commander, 222 Infantry Brigade with the Commanding Officer, 7 Military Intelligence Corps closely monitored the raid and instructed accordingly. With the apprehended of these illegal activities in respective areas, illegal activities will be stopped in the area and the general public’s confidence in the Military forces will be increased.
