CAPTURE OF ILLEGAL DRUGS

According to the information received by 7 Military Intelligent Corps, Intelligent troops together with Sardapura Special Task Force officials; one person was apprehended with 2.540 g of Methamphetamine (Ice drug) at Ailadi on 16 February 2023. Thereafter suspected person with illegal drugs was handed over to the Sardapura Special Task Force for further investigations.

The Commander, Security Forces (East) together with the General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division, and the Brigade Commander, 223 Infantry Brigade with the Commanding Officer, 7 Military Intelligence Corps closely monitored the raid and instructed accordingly. With the apprehended of these illegal activities in respective areas, illegal activities will be stopped in the area and the general public’s confidence in the Military forces will be increased.
