According to an information received by 7 Military Intelligence Corps, Intelligent troops (attach to 222 Infantry Brigade) together with Sooriyapura STF official, a person was apprehended with 1.48 Kg of Cannabis (Kerala Ganja) at Kurunagala on 11th January 2023. There after suspected person with illegal drugs were handed over to the Kurunagala Police station for further investigations.
The Commander, Security Forces - East, together with the General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division and the Brigade Commander of 222 Infantry Brigade closely monitored the raid and instructed accordingly. With the apprehended of these illegal activities, which illegal activities will be stopped in the area and the general public’s confidence about the Military forces will be increased.
