CAPTURE OF ILLEGAL DRUGS

According to an information received by 7 Military Intelligence Corps, Intelligent troops (attach to 222 Infantry Brigade) together with Kanthale police stations officials, a person was arrested with 80mg of “Methamphetamine” (Ice) at Kanthale on 18 December 2022. Suspected person with illegal drugs was handed over to the Kanthale police stations for further investigations.

On the same day, another Capture of illegal Drugs at Kuburupiddi ,on an information received by 7 Military Intelligence Corps, Intelligent troops (attach to 221 Infantry Brigade), combining with the Kuchchaveli police officers captured 50g of Cannabis(Kerala Ganja) without suspects, while transporting for the sale. Thereafter, Illegal drugs were handed over to kuchchaveli police stations for further investigations.

The Commander, Security Forces - East, together with the General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division and the Brigade Commanders of 221, 222 Infantry Brigades closely monitored the raid and instructed accordingly. With the arrests of these illegal activities, which illegal activities have will stopped in the area and the general public’s confidence about the security forces will be increased.
