BRIGADIER RADS RAJAPAKSHA RSP AUSWC PSC ASSUMED DUTIES AS THE 4TH BRIGADE COMMANDER OF THE 243 INFANTRY BRIGADE

Brigadier RADS Rajapaksha RSP AUSWC psc assumed duties as the Brigade Commander of the 243 Infantry Brigade on 24 December 2025 at the Brigade Headquarters. Upon his arrival, the newly appointed Brigade Commander was accorded a guard turnout by troops of the 11 (V) Sri Lanka Singhe Regiment.

Religious observances were conducted to invoke blessings for his new appointment. Thereafter, he posed for a group photograph and participated in the ceremonial planting of a sapling. Subsequently, he addressed the troops of the 243 Infantry Brigade, outlining his vision and expectations for the future progress of the Brigade. The day’s formalities concluded with an all-ranks tea, providing an opportunity for officers and troops to extend their congratulations and best wishes.
