BLOOD DONATION PROGRAM – 15 SRI LANKA LIGHT INFANTRY

Ander the guidance and supervision of the Commander, 223 Infantry Brigade, a blood donation campaign was successfully conducted by the 15 Sri Lanka light infantry Regiment on 4th September 2025 at Agrabodhi Temple, Mollipathana.

The Commanding Officer of the 15 Sri Lanka light Infantry Regiment, Lieutenant Colonel KGRMN Kumara RWP RSP USP SLLI graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Civil Affairs Officer of the 223 Infantry Brigade, Senior Officers, the Officer,-in- Charge of Thambalagamuwa police Station, medical Officers, nursing Staff from Trincomalee District General Hospital, and a large number of civilians attended and contributed to this meaningful event.

This initiative was conducted as part of the enhanced civil-military coordination efforts, aimed at reinforcing mutual cooperation and goodwill between the military and the civilian population.
