BIDS FAREWELL TO ITS OUTGOING GOC 22 DIVISION

The outgoing General Officer commanding, 22 Division, Major General Sanath Aluwihare was saluted in accordance with military traditions during a formal farewell, held at the Security Forces Headquarters East premises on Wednesday (28).

On arrival GOC 22 Div, a Guard Turnout at the entrances and a Guard of Honors parade in the parade square at Security Forces Headquarters East, honored the outgoing General Officer Commanding, 22 Division. At second, he posed for a group photo at the SF (E) HQ.

Furthermore, a farewell Lunch hosted on the following day honored the outgoing General Officer Commanding, 22 Division by Officers of the Security Forces Headquarters East at the Officers’ Mess. A memento was also awarded to him as a souvenir towards the end of the occasion.

Commander Security Forces East, 23, 24 Division General Officer Commanders, Brigadier General Staff Security Forces East, All Brigade Commanders Senior Staff Officers and Commanding Officers, Officers were present during the occasion.
