BEACH CLEANING PROGRAMME

A beach cleaning programme was conducted in on the direction of Commander 231 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier WMNKD Bandara RWP RSP USP psc with the cooperation of Mr E. DarshanVijayarathnam National Programme Director CERI organization.

The event was commenced at 0700 hrs and terminated around 1000 hrs on 11 December 2021. Areas of Kallady Beach Park to Kattankudy Beach (4 km) were cleaned during the programme. Troops of 231 Infantry Brigade, 4 GW, 11 (V) SLSR, Navy, Police, National Cadet Corps and civilians attended the event.
