John Keels Foundation AIDS awareness programme involves a multi pronged sequence of events and interventions including Educational, Social and Medical efforts to contain the spread of HIV/AIDS.
As per the direction of Major General Santhusitha Pananwala Commander Security Force (East), John Keells foundation conducted the awareness programme on HIV/AIDS to the troops under 24 Division at the main auditorium on 07th February 2018. The programme was conducted by the Mr. Ivan Perera and his staff and were sponsored by the Cinnamon Lodge Habarana.
Over Three Hundred troops participated for the programme and question and answer session with HIV positive personnel and AIDS victims were share the extra experience with the troops.
Finally, Mr. Ivan Perera has offered his sincere gratitude to Major General Mahinda Mudalige GOC 24 Division and his staff for providing this opportunity with other commitments.
