AWARENESS PROGRAM ON DRUG ABUSE AT KATANKUDI CENTRAL COLLEGE

Katankudi Central College hosted an awareness program on 31 July 2024 to educate students about the dangers of drug abuse and its prevention.

Major General S.A. Kulatunge RWP RSP VSV USP psc, Commander of the Security Forces (East), graced the event as the Chief Guest. The program was organized by Engineer Mohammadi Tawfiq, President of the Katankudi Muslim Churches and Institutions Association. Key messages emphasized the need for vigilance and support for those involved in drug-related activities.

Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police, Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, and 500 students and teachers from the College participated in the workshop.
