ASSUMED DUTIES AS THE NEW COMMANDER OF SECURITY FORCE HEADQUARTERS (EAST)
Major General KMU Wijeratne USP ndu assumed duties as the Commander Security Forces Headquarters (East) at the auspicious time following to the religious rituals on 15 January 2016. He was offered with a Guard of Honor by the 7 Fd SLE and a Tree Planting was held at the Headquarters premises to mark the day. Tea party was organized by all rank of SFHQ (E) followed by Troops Address on the same day.
