ARISIMALE BEACH CLEAN-UP PROGRAM WAS CONDUCTED BY 20TH BATTALION OF THE GAJABA REGIMENT IN CONJUNCTION WITH 76TH ARMY ANNIVERSARY

In conjunction with the 76th Army Anniversary, a clean-up program was conducted at the Arisimale beach area, on the instructions of the General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry Division and the Commander 221 Infantry Brigade, under the guidance and supervision of the Commanding Officer of 20th Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment Lt Col Rohana Ekanayake RWP RSP psc GR.

A beach cleaning program was conducted on 10th October 2025 during morning hours with the participation of 02x20 troops of this unit and 00x10 troops of Sri Lanka Navy (Ranweli) and removed that waste and make the beach available for the use of tourists, fishermen and the people who living in the area.
