ANOTHER STOCK OF 22 DIVISION PRODUCED ORGANIC FERTILIZER RELEASED

Giving a boost to the Government's Organic Fertilizer Production Process as per the directions of the Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army General Shavendra Silva, another stock of organic fertilizer produced by the troops under the 22 Infantry Division was released to ‘Ceylon Fertilizer Company Limited' (Lak Pohora) at the Headquarters premises of 22 Infantry Division in Trincomalee on Saturday (19).

The Commander Security Force (East), Major General Lal Chandrasiri graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and symbolically handed over the 48,339 kg of compost fertilizer to the District Marketing Executive of ‘Ceylon Fertilizer Company Limited in Eastern Province’, Mr RMD Rathnayake.

General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry Division, Major General Sanath Aluvihare, Brigade Commanders of the 221, 222 and 223 Infantry Brigades, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks under command to the 22 Infantry Division and officers of Ceylon Fertilizer Company Limited were also present at the occasion.
