One more newly constructed house was vested in a needy family by Security Force Headquarters (East) on Sunday (28) in Trincomalee area with the supervision of 22 Infantry Division.
The house, built by Army troops of 6 Battalion of the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps under 223 Infantry Brigade of 22 Infantry Division was vested to the recipient, Mrs Pradeepika Lasanthi in the Mailawewa Thusithapura area on 28 November 2021 under the patronage of the Commander Security Forces – East Major General Channa Weerasuriya. The financial support was given by Mr Nihal Udugama Suriyage who is presently living in Australia.
The construction of the new house was completed under the close supervision of the General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry Division Major General Sanath Aluvihare and Brigade Commander 223 Infantry Brigade Colonel Ravindra Jayasinghe.
