ANOTHER COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT COORDINATED BY THE TROOPS OF 9TH FIELD REGIMENT SRI LANKA ARTILLERY - DISTRIBUTION PROGRAMME OF EDUCATIONAL AIDS TO STUDENTS AND TEACHERS OF 3 x SCHOOLS

With the guidance and the close supervision of the Commander Security Force Headquarters (East), the General Officer Commanding 23 Infantry Division and the Commander 233 Infantry Brigade, Troops of 9th Field Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery organized a distribution program of Educational Aids among 430 underprivileged School students and 28 Teachers of Kalingawila Kanishta Vidyalaya, Mahasenpura Primary School and Nagasthenna Primary School on 04 January 2025 at the Kalingawila School Auditorium with the participation of “THARANA” foundation and “SIDDHALEPA” group with the objective of helping the needy students in order to minimize the financial burden of their parents. Major General Priyantha Kariyawasam - General Officer Commanding 23 Infantry Division graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
