Distribution of gift along with the Christmas for Dimbulagala Divisional Secretariat area was conducted on 23rd of December 2024 with the participation of Damminna Maha Vidyalaya, Alawa kumbura Maha Vidyalaya, Wishwa Mithra Nursery, Aruna Singithi Nursery, Dewmini Nursery, Purnima Nursery, Pubudu Nursery, Mini Muthu Nursery, Deepthi Nursery, Samadhi Nursery and Samurdhi Nursery.
Major General Nilantha Premaratne RSP USP psc, the Commander, Security Forces - East figured out the basic needs and launched this programme with his conceptual guidance. The event was organized under the supervision of Major General Priyantha Kariyawasam, General Officer Commanding, 23 Infantry Division. The event was successfully conducted by the Brigadier Anura Malandeniya RSP, the Commander, 231 Infantry Brigade with the support by Major Sanjaya Ranasinghe RWP RSP USP, Commanding Officer, 12 Battalion the Gemunu Watch and his troops.
Further the sponsorship were given by Atlas and Hemas Outreach Pvt Limited. With the coordination of Major General Kumudu Perera (Rtd) and Madam Kumudu Perera.
