On the concept of General Officer Commanding 23 Infantry Division Major General Nilantha Premaratne, staff Officers and troops of Headquarters 23 Infantry Division organized a “Aluth Sahal Mangalya” on 29th September 2023, after the harvesting of 23 acres of paddy which was cultivated for the “Yala Season” by troops of headquarters 23 Infantry Division.
The event was held at the paddy field that was cultivated by troops of Headquarters 23 Infantry Division. After performing the religious rites, God Ganesh was offered with maiden harvest of Yala Season following a traditional customary. General Officer Commanding 23 Infantry Division Major General Nilantha Premaratne, staff Officers and troops of Headquarters 23 Infantry Division participated to the event.
