8 SLNG MARKS ITS 17TH ANNIVERSARY

8 Sri Lanka National Guard (8 SLNG) celebrates its 17th anniversary amidst religious and military formalities under the guidance of Major E.D.S.K Deniyaya, Commanding Officer of 8 SLNG on 15 April 2024.

The celebrations began with a Guard Turnout by the troops of 8 SLNG to the Commanding Officer, followed by the planting of a sapling and troops address. The event also included an all-rank lunch and a series of activities, including an Inter-Company Cricket tournament and a Bodhi Pooja programme.
