A water leak occurred on the Bakmeegama tank bund in Bakmeegama Grama Niladahari Division due to heavy rains was repaired using sand bags by 6 Sri Lanka Armoured Corps on 31 December 2021.
After the matter was brought to the notice of the troops, Major General Sanath Aluvihare, GOC 22 Infantry Division instructed the Commander 223 Infantry Brigade to attend to the need with his troops.
