As per the direction given by the Commander 233 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Wasantha Hewage, the Panichchankerny to Sallathive minor road was reconstructed by the troops of the 6th Battalion of Gajaba Regiment on 18th September 2022.
This road was reconstructed under the close supervision of the Commanding Officer of 6 GR, Lieutenant Colonel Jaanaka Ranaraja with the assistance of the “Son Construction Cooperation” at Navalladi.
The constructions of this road immensely benefitted the peoples living in general area of Panichchankerny and Sallathive.
