The distribution of essential items pack each worth of Rs.10,000 and the packeted lunch for 20 selected pregnant mothers living in the Agbopura area has been organized at the Agbopura Primary Medical Care Unit on 23 December 2023. Further, it was provided 20 Isuru Udana accounts of People's Bank for the children to be born.
Full financial donation done by Mrs Shantilatha, Mrs. Indrani Swarnalatha, Mrs. Kumuduni, Mr. Wasantha Diyawadana and Mr. Kamalasiri Diyawadana. Doctors and the medical staff of the Agbogama Regional Medical Center were also participated for the event.
This Programme was organized by the instruction of Genaral Officer Commanding 22 Infantri Divison Major General P A M Peiris RSP USP psc, guidance of the Commander 222 Infantry Brigade Brigadier H K S Thilakaratne and the supervision of the Commanding Officer of 5 (V) SLA Lieutenant Colonel W W M P B Wekadapola USP psc IG. This programme was organized by the 5 (V) SLA and 03 Officer 20 troops were participated.
