A total of 250 teachers and students of Lahugala Maha Vidyalaya Ampara participated for an awareness lecture on ‘National Drug Prevention’ organized by 242 Brigade in close cooperation with the National Dangerous Drugs Control Board (NDDCB) at the school premises on Tuesday (18). The purpose of the lecture was to educate the young generation on the effects of intoxicants and reduce the usage of alcohol, tobacco and smuggled narcotics, etc.
Mr. MMGBM Rashad, Drug Education and Information Officer of the National Dangerous Drugs Control Board (NDDCB) delivered the lecture.
