Brigadier LSDN Pathirathne RSP USP, the Commander, 241 Infantry Brigade, troops of 241 Infantry Brigade and 11 Sri Lanka National Guard were attended to remove a tree at Sri Wijayarama temple – Akkaraipattu which was fallen with the heavy rain and wind on 10 January 2024.
Due to that the movement was obstructed along the road towards Dammarathana Sinhala School and electricity power supply was disconnected. With the assistance of Akkaraipattu Municipal Council and Electricity Board, quickly removed the fallen tree and restore the electricity and transportation of the road.
