241 INFANTRY BRIGADE CLEAN THE IRRIGATION ANICUT AT NAINAKADU

On 11 January 2024, the irrigation anicut at Nainakadu was blocked due to the root parts and timber which floating with the heavy rain and it was a risk to over spill the irrigation cannel. There by with the quick guidance and participation of Brigadier LSDN Pathirathne RSP USP, Commander, 241 Infantry Brigade and 03 Officers with 15 Other Ranks of 241 Infantry Brigade were cleaned the anicut and reinstate the water flow along the irrigation cannel. Irrigation Department and civil population were provided the required assistance for this work.
